Tips
- The online user manual will help you with any questions you may have regarding the application process
- Use the Horizon 2020 ‘Opportunity-Finder’ (an online semantic search platform) to locate research grants
- Single-stage application procedure time to grant: around 8 months (proposal evaluation results after 5 months, negotiation after 3 months)
- Two-stage application procedure time to grant: around 13 months (from stage-1 submission to stage-2 submission: around 5 months, stage-2 evaluation results after 5 months, negotiation 3 months)
- Be realistic: the average success rate for a stage-1 proposal is between 1%-6%; the average success rate for a stage-2 proposal (those having passed stage-1) is less than 20%
