It is each participant’s responsibility to check and comply with the latest health and travel regulations to ensure a smooth and safe journey from the Country of origin to the event venue, and back.
During the event, ESMO will apply health and safety protocols according to the latest local authority guidelines and regulations.
In general, ESMO recommends
- to apply health precautions and measures according to formal guidance and personal medical history,
- to stay up to date with the vaccination status
- to perform a Rapid Antigen Test and wear a mask in case of symptoms.
Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the venue; the use of mask is at own discretion in the absence of symptoms.
No, it is not mandatory to wear a face mask, but it is strongly recommended.
Registration
You will need to have an ESMO account and go through the registration process in order to register for the meeting. Registration fees are published on the ESMO website.

By end-September 2023 delegates will receive the registration confirmation email and instructions on how to access the Molecular Analysis for Precision Oncology Congress 2023.
The group and third party registration systems have been closed on 13 September 2023. After that date, all delegates must register individually through MAP 2023 registration process.
MAP 2023 is accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the science, management, and prevention of oncological diseases. Registered participants will have access to all official sessions, industry sponsored symposia and exhibition. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Yes, you will be able to download and print your Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the online evaluation as of Friday 6 October from 10.00 (CEST) for one week available. The MAP Congress 2023 programme will be accredited with ESMO-MORA category 1 points.
General information
MAP 2023 will take place at the Maison de la Chimie, Paris, France from 4 to 6 October 2023. Please consult the online programme for all details.
The meeting webcasts will be available a few days after the meeting on OncologyPRO and will be accessible (where speaker permission is granted) immediately to all registered delegates for 2 years. ESMO Members who did not register for the Congress will have access to the resources 2 months after the end of the it. Whereas, Industry Satellite Symposia and ESMO Colloquia will be available immediately post-Congress on OncologyPRO to all ESMO Members.
Presentation slides and e-Posters will also be available on OncologyPRO for view and download.

The online programme is accessible via the ESMO website, online programme section. In the “Search” box at the top of the page items may be selected from options including session title, presentation title, final publication number, day, topic, presenter name or keyword.
Paper Posters will be on display in the Poster area of the congress venue for the duration of the Congress. There are two poster areas: one located on the ground floor (Room 8), the second one located on the 1st floor (Room 101)
MAP 2023 has been accredited with 20 ESMO-MORA category 1 points. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. It also guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/his knowledge and still possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology.
