A packed programme of workshops and sessions designed with young oncologists in mind
This year's Young Oncologists' Track has a wide variety of multidisciplinary sessions focussed on careers and daily clinical practice issues such as breaking bad news, training and work-life balance. A growing concern is the rate of burnout - this area is very topical and affects us all. On the Saturday, there will be an interactive session on how to avoid burnout. Career planning and opportunities can be daunting - Young Oncologists will share their experiences and advice, and your input is welcome - join us for 'How to improve cancer training and career planning?' session on the Sunday. I have found mentorship very helpful throughout my career, and we are privileged to have experts at the ECC congress hosting a series of mentorship sessions.
We look forward to seeing you in Vienna.
