The Symposium is known as the place of choice for international networking and collaboration, featuring discussions with the key opinion leaders in these rare sub-entities. The Symposium brings translational researchers and clinicians together and builds on an integrated approach for improved patient outcomes.
The three-day event is composed by a Preceptorship Course, designed to provide oncologists with a brief outline of both STS & GIST; an Advanced Course, offering an intensive discussion of a set of clinical cases of STS & GIST for experienced professionals; and a Main Symposium.
The 2022 edition of the symposium focused on novel targeted therapies, immunotherapies and cell-based therapies of sarcoma and GIST, their molecular biology and histopathological classification, and on principles of locoregional management and multidisciplinary and systemic therapies of patients with soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
Create your own personalised agenda and browse the scientific programme by day, topic, cancer type and track with the ESMO events app.
