The ESMO Deep Dive - Lower Digestive Cancers Webinar Series recordings and slides are available to all ESMO Members.
ESMO Deep Dive: Lower Digestive Cancers - Immuno-Oncology in Deficient Mismatch Repair / High Microsatellite Instability (dMMR/MSI-H) Colorectal Cancer: Promises and Challenges 2023
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the ESMO webinar on Deep Dive into Lower Digestive Cancers that will elaborate on immuno-oncology in deficient mismatch repair / high microsatellite instability (dMMR / MSI-H) colorectal cancer, its promises and challenges.
This webinar is developed with the aim to acquire a deeper understanding of the clinical course of malignant disease of the lower digestive system and understand biological hypotheses on classification and risk stratification, ongoing/required research in therapeutics and knowledge of use of omics technologies for biomarker-enabled precision medicine for lower digestive cancers.
Furthermore, the programme will enhance development of skills and abilities for critical analysis, interpretation of research data and therapeutic strategies, as well as becoming better equipped for informed, innovative thinking and engagement in ongoing or new research projects.
I am delighted to announce the distinguished speakers who will join me in this webinar. We will firstly discuss the biology-guided research for optimising therapeutic immune-oncology schedules in localised dMMR colorectal cancer: monotherapy vs combinations, short vs long duration, treatment after progression. The next lecture will focus on the state of the art and ongoing clinical research in immunotherapeutic approaches for management of metastatic dMMR colorectal cancer. We will finish the lectures with a discussion on emerging breakthroughs for predicting and monitoring resistance to IO therapies in dMMR CRC.
The programme is designed to provide an overview of the state of the art and ongoing research in therapies for patients with colorectal cancer. It will offer expert opinion exchange and provide some important considerations for practice and research in this field. I strongly encourage and invite you to register and join us all in this new ESMO activity.
