With more than 20,000 members representing oncology professionals from over 150 countries worldwide, ESMO is the society of reference for oncology education and information. EACR – European Association for Cancer Research

The ESMO Congress 2019 has been organised in partnership with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR).

The EACR is a global community of cancer researchers with more than 10,000 members in 100+ countries. EACR membership is open to anyone working in or studying cancer research and our members work across the full spectrum of the field, from basic through to translational and clinical research.

The EACR was founded in 1968 and has one guiding aim: ‘The advancement of cancer research for the public benefit: from basic research to prevention, treatment and care.’ We provide a wide variety of services to our community of members, organise scientific conferences of the highest quality, and facilitate communication and collaboration within the cancer research community. We also set out to raise the profile of cancer research in Europe and to make the case for sustained political and economic support.

AACR - American Association for Cancer Research

The mission of the AACR is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration. AACR fosters research, accelerates dissemination of findings among scientists and others dedicated to the global conquest of cancer.

ABC Global Alliance

The ABC Global Alliance, established by the European School of Oncology, is a multi-stakeholder platform for all those interested in collaborating on common projects relating to advanced breast cancer (ABC) around the world.

ACP – Association of Cancer Physicians

The ACP is the specialist society for medical oncology in the UK. Its Executive Committee is comprised of democratically elected clinicians to represent the views and concerns of the membership. The ACP holds educational workshops for members and annual events specifically targeted at new consultants and trainees.

AERIO - French Association of Residents in Oncology

The French Association for Training and Research in Medical Oncology. This way, we gather French young oncologists to create a national social network, to support continuous formation, collaborative research, and represent them on the national stage.

AIOM – Italian Association of Medical Oncology

Founded in 1973 in Milan, the Italian Association of Medical Oncology promotes development and innovation in prevention, molecular characterization, customized care, multidisciplinary diagnostic-therapeutic strategy, humanization, continuity of care.

ASCO - American Society of Clinical Oncology

BSMO – Belgian Society of Medical Oncology

EORTC - European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer

ESGO - European Society of Gynaecological Oncology

European society of Gynaecological Oncology, founded in 1983, is a leading not-for profit organisation and forum of more than 3,400 professionals, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of European women with gynaecological cancers.

ESO - European School of Oncology

The European School of Oncology (ESO) was founded in 1982, with the aim of contributing to the reduction of deaths from cancer due to late diagnosis and/or inadequate treatment.

ESOP - European Society of Oncology Pharmacy 

The European Society of Oncology Pharmacy, founded in 2000 in Prague, is the largest organization of oncology pharmacists in the world (3500 members from 60 countries).

ESTRO - European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology

HeSMO - Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology

SBOC - Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology

SIOPE – European Society for Paediatric Oncology 

The European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOP Europe or SIOPE) is the only pan-European organisation representing all professionals working in the field of childhood cancers, with more than 1,934 members across 36 European countries.

SMeO - Mexican Society of Clinical Oncology

SOS - Slovak Oncology Society

S.O.S is part of Slovak Medical Association (SkMA). Predecessor of SkMA was Czechoslovak Soc. of Purkyne, est. in 1949. First journal in was published in 1954, and is now under title of Neoplasma. Bratislava Oncology Days were established in 1958.

SPO – Portuguese Society of Oncology
