- To have an overview of important practice-shaping scientific studies across solid tumours presented over 2021
- To understand the essentials in assessment, diagnosis and treatment advances in important cancer types
- To learn about the development and application of Pan Asian Adapted ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines in early colon, renal, head neck cancers
- To be informed on policies relevant to the Asia Pacific region regarding access to medicines and rare cancers
Accreditation
ESMO-MORA: The ESMO Asia Virtual Oncology Week 2021 programme will be accredited with ESMO-MORA category 1 points. ESMO MORA points are only awarded for delegates who attend the ESMO Asia Highlights of the Year, Pan Asian Adapted Guidelines Lectures, ESMO Asia Policy Sessions and/or ESMO Virtual Preceptorships.
Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. It also guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/his knowledge and still possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology. The ESMO Asia Virtual Oncology Week 2021 webcasts will include all the sessions of the official programme, where speaker permission is granted. ESMO Members will have access to all post-event resources and on-demand content on the Meeting Resources section of OncologyPRO. Webcasts for ESMO Virtual Preceptorships, ESMO Virtual Plenaries, and ESMO Webinar on Gastric Cancer will be open to all ESMO Members and ESMO Account holders.
