ESMO-MORA: The ESMO Asia Congress 2024 programme will be submitted for ESMO-MORA category 1 points accreditation. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. It also guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/his knowledge and still possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology. During the ESMO Asia Congress 2024, your badge may be scanned outside session rooms by ESMO for operational and statistical purposes. Badges scanned inside the Exhibition area by third parties may be for statistical or marketing purposes. Should you agree to have your badge scanned, the following information will be transferred: title, first name, last name, institute, department, profession, city, country, email address. Processing of personal data must be in line with the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws, and third parties are responsible for and must be able to demonstrate compliance with the principles relating to the processing of personal data (which includes having a legal basis for processing). Individuals have the right to refuse their badges being scanned.
All members in good standing will have “ESMO member” printed on their badge. This provides direct access to the ESMO Member and Invited Speaker Lounge – no verification needed! In the event your badge does not state that you are an ESMO member, please stop by one of the Membership Services desks to pick up your member ribbon.
The Certificate of Attendance will be available for download for the ESMO Asia Congress 2024 section of the ESMO website from Sunday, 8 December 2024. You will need your ESMO Username and Password to log in and then complete the evaluation questionnaire.
The cloakroom is located at the registration area on Level 3, Concourse 2.

ESMO is honoured to host several Asia-Pacific oncology associations, endorsing ESMO Asia 2024, in the Endorsing Societies Hub close to the ESMO Booth. We invite you to visit the Endorsing Societies Hub, to meet representatives and learn about national activities.
You will find a dedicated desk located in the Registration area, open for all membership transactions from Friday, 6 December, to Sunday, 8 December 2024.
Located on level 3, Concourse 4, the ESMO Lounge is an area to network with other members of the ESMO community. Here, you can renew your membership, relax in-between sessions, have some refreshments and find a quiet place to work.

Exhibition visitors may register on-site at the fee of 182 SGD. The “Exhibitor visitor” badge authorises access to the Exhibition, Private Meetings and Industry Satellite Symposia only.
Access times for Exhibitors: staff holding exhibitor badges may enter the exhibition hall 1 hour before the official opening and must leave the halls by 18:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 16:30 on Sunday.

Participants and exhibitors attending the Congress are welcome to attend the official Opening Session on Friday, 6 December 2024, from 09:00 – 10:00 on Level 4, Hall 406.
Should an auditorium be full, and you are not able to enter, please make your way to the dedicated overflow areas, hostesses can assist you in finding the right place, where you will be able to follow the session remotely via screens and headsets.
Paper posters will be displayed in the exhibition hall on Level 4, Hall 401 – 405.

Invited Speakers, Proffered Paper and Mini Oral presenters are requested to deliver and check-in their presentation at the Speaker centre located on Level 3, Room 323, no later than 3 hours before the start of the session. Content for first sessions in the morning should be delivered by 17:00 on the preceding day.
Presentations cannot be uploaded directly on laptops in the session rooms.
All session Chairs, invited Speakers, Proffered Paper and Mini oral presenters must be in the Auditorium 15 minutes prior to start of their session in order to be briefed by technicians.
It is strictly mandatory that Invited Speakers, Proffered Paper and Mini Oral presenters include a Declaration of Interest (DOI) disclosure slide at the start of their presentation/s.

Filming, recording and photography
Congress content is the copyright of ESMO. As a rule, it’s forbidden to record or capture in any way the official programme sessions, the Satellites sessions, the Exhibition and the Posters Area. Third Parties conducting filming activities and carrying professional equipment are requested to inform filming@esmo.org to receive guidance and approval.
Special rules apply to accredited Press Representatives: recording of the Congress sessions is only possible for few minutes (news coverage). Photographing during sessions by accredited Press Representatives is allowed for personal and non-commercial use only, i.e., photos cannot be published or reproduced in any way.
Both Press and Third Party Representatives performing filming activities are requested to secure (together with the badge) a special vest to be worn all times.
The use of wireless microphones radio frequencies may interfere with Congress sessions microphones: for additional details, please contact filming@esmo.org.
Photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the Congress by ESMO appointed photographers and cameramen. These might be used by ESMO in its own publications, on the website and social media channels. The subjects of the photographs and/or the footage are chosen at random. By attending the Congress participants consent to the fact that photographs and/or footage may be captured and used by ESMO.

Registration
The registration system for small group and group will remain open until 20 November 2024. But the individual registration will remain open throughout the congress. You need an ESMO account to register yourself to the ESMO Asia Congress 2024, if you do not have one yet, please create it here.
In-person participation includes:
- Participation in the scientific and educational live sessions with the possibility to interact with the expert panel table
- Onsite networking opportunity with faculty and peers
- Entry to the Poster area
- Interaction with the industry partners in the trade exhibition
- Participation in the Industry Satellite Symposia
- Post-event resources
Smoking is prohibited by Singapore law in all indoor places including the Congress Centre.

ESMO is committed to doing business in a sustainable and socially as well as environmentally responsible way. Conducting our activities, we take into consideration the efficient and responsible use of energy and materials and the responsible disposal of residual waste.
As such, a number of actions have been implemented towards reducing waste and minimising the environmental impact of the ESMO Asia Congress 2024.
These include:
- Congress bag converted to the virtual congress bag on the platform
- No printed programme book – the online programme is accessible via the ESMO website and Congress platform as well as on the Congress app
- No printed Daily Reporter, available in digital format
- Limited amount of ESMO Society printed material distributed on-site
- Lunch box packaging materials are certified biodegradable
- No distribution of plastic bottled water*
- Build-up and structures are designed based on reusable building materials where possible
- Delegates will be encouraged to use public transport. Public transport information will be provided on the congress website and mobile app.
- Include information in Exhibitor Manual for exhibitors to adopt sustainable practices for onsite activities, booths etc.
- Locally sourced food in so far as is possible
*Delegates are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles and refill them at water dispensers located within the Exhibition Hall
