ESMO Member Services Points
Membership staff warmly welcome you to ESMO 2018 and will be happy to answer any membership or congress questions you may have whilst in Munich. You can find us in 3 designated areas in the congress centre: ESMO Membership Services desks located in the Registration Area, at the ESMO Booth in the Society Village or in the Member Lounge in Hall B0.
You will need to be identified as an ESMO member to access the Lounge, pick up the latest publications from the Booth and access the ESMO General Assembly. Ribbons can be found at the Member Services areas.
ESMO General Assembly
All ESMO Members are invited to join the 2018 ESMO General Assembly taking place on Monday, 22 October from 18:30 to 19:45 in Room 14C, ICM, with doors opening at 17:30.
Student members are welcome but will not be able to vote.
You will need to be identified as an ESMO member in order to gain access to the room. You can pick up your green ESMO Member ribbon from any ESMO Membership Services desks located in the Registration Area, at the ESMO Booth in the Society Village or in the Member Lounge.
ESMO Member Lounge
The ESMO Member Lounge is an exclusive area where members can relax in-between sessions and meet other members of the ESMO community. Membership staff will be on hand to cater to all membership needs!
The lounge is situated in the Hall B0 of the congress centre (ICM Ground Floor).

To enter the ESMO Member Lounge you will need to be wearing your ESMO member badge or ESMO member ribbon. Ribbons can be obtained from any ESMO Membership Services desks located in the Registration Area, at the ESMO Booth in the Society Village or in the Member Lounge. Your badge will be scanned by a hostess each time you enter.
Lounge facilities
- Working area with laptops, printers and mobile phone charging stations
- Lounge area: relax in-between sessions and network with other members
- Literature area: pick up copies of the latest ESMO publications
- Refreshments: grab a snack over lunchtime, or stop by for a drink during the day
- Membership Services desk: renew your membership with the 3x2 onsite membership offer, update your myESMO profile, ask questions about membership benefits
ESMO Examination Registration
There are still a limited number of seats available for ESMO members wishing to register onsite in Munich for the 2018 ESMO Examination. If you wish to register please visit the ESMO Member Lounge on Saturday, 20 October from 9:00-13:00. The spaces available will be offered on a first come first served basis.
