ESMO 2017: Exhibition, Society Village and Technical Exhibition

The exhibition is an important component of the ESMO Congress, providing medical oncologists with an ideal platform to network with pharmaceutical partners and a dedicated opportunity to gain further insight into tangible advances in the treatment of cancer. 

The Society Village is the area where most of the non-profit societies, National societies and Patient Advocates active in the field of oncology are looking forward to meeting participants. The Technology Exhibition will bring together the cancer research community alongside world-class invited speakers to discuss the most innovative current research topics, interact and form new collaborations.

The major pharmaceutical companies active in the field of oncology are expected to take part in the Congress as exhibitors.

Official Italian agency for AIFA procedure

AIFA rules are mandatory only for Italian Pharmaceutical Companies that will attend a congress abroad.

Any pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress, is subjected to an authorisation by AIFA (Italian Drug Agency), according to an Italian Government Decree (Decreto Legislativo 219/06 – art. 124). The request of authorisation must be submitted within 60 days before the starting date of the event.
