How to apply

Application is via online form. During the application process you will be required to upload the following:

• Your CV including a list of your publications
• 3-5 slides presenting a clinical case (please use the ESMO Preceptorship Case Presentation Power Point template, provided here)

Who can apply?

While this course is primarily aimed at oncologists resident in Europe, application is open to all ESMO members.

Successful applicants will benefit from complimentary course registration.

Travel grant

In addition to the course registration, a travel grant of maximum 600 euros is offered to non-local participants as a contribution versus their accommodation and travel costs (excluding Visa costs).

Participants must supply proof of the costs as appropriate (tickets and receipts/invoices).

The reimbursement of travel costs will be processed after the course according to the rules below:

Accreditation

The programme of this event will be accredited with 16 ESMO-MORA category 1 points. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. Recertification guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/his knowledge and continues to possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology. Health and Safety Policy

It is each participant’s responsibility to check and comply with the health and travel regulations to ensure a smooth and safe journey from the Country of origin to the event venue, and back.

During the event, ESMO will apply health and safety protocols according to the latest local authority guidelines and regulations.

In general, ESMO recommends:

• To apply health precautions and measures according to formal guidance and personal medical history
• To stay up to date with the vaccination status
• To perform a Rapid Antigen Test and wear a mask in case of symptoms

Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the venue; the use of mask is at own discretion in the absence of symptoms.
