Assistance with hotel bookings can be obtained at the Accommodation desk located in the Registration area, Hall 2.1.
The Certificate of Attendance will be available to download online from Tuesday, 21 October 2025. Participants will have two weeks to access the ESMO website via the Congress section and print the certificate from home. They will need their ESMO username and password to log in and complete the evaluation questionnaire before receiving the certificate.
The ESMO Daily Reporter is the official Society newspaper freely available in digital format at this link. Stay up to date with the latest advances in oncology with daily news and commentaries from key opinion leaders on the scientific findings presented at the Congress. The currency in Germany is EUR (€).
One ATM cash machine is located inside the Congress venue in the Central Foyer area between halls 1.2 and 2.2, level 2.
The ESMO Examination is a valuable assessment tool for practising medical oncologists and an excellent opportunity for medical oncologists in training to assess their knowledge. The ESMO Examination is the written part of the Board Certification in Medical Oncology in Switzerland and Slovenia. In all other countries, the ESMO Examination certifies excellent knowledge in the field of Medical Oncology according to the criteria of the European Society for Medical Oncology.
The ESMO Examination is accredited with 50 category 1 ESMO-MORA CME points.
Candidates registered to sit the ESMO Examination 2025 are reminded that the Examination will take place on Saturday, 18 October from 13:00 to 15:30 (CEST) at Messe Berlin, Hall 9.
Enrolment will start at 11:30. If you wish to register on-site for the Examination (only ESMO members), please visit the ESMO Registration area on Saturday, 18 October from 08:00 to 11:00. Please be aware that the seats available for ESMO members wishing to register on-site are limited and that the spaces available will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Metro
Please note the venue is not directly accessible via metro, as the closest stations (“Kaiserdamm” and “Theodor-Heuss-Platz”) are located 25 minutes walking distance from the South Entrance. However, most metro lines are well-connected with the S-Bahn lines (S3 & S9) which take you directly to the Messe.
Train
Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof) is one of the merging points for public transport in Berlin.
From here, one can reach all parts of the city and its surroundings, as well as the main European cities.

Taxi
Attendees can find taxi ranks opposite the main South Entrance.
There are taxi ranks just outside the Berlin Central Station, at Europaplatz (north exit) and Washingtonplatz (south exit).
Uber
Uber is a transport app (private cars with a driver) working with geo-tracked journeys and identified drivers. The Uber App must be downloaded to order a service and pre-booking is required. Further details about Uber are available here.
Normal caution must be exercised by all. ESMO bears no responsibility for untoward events in connection with, before, during or after the Congress.
Internet kiosks, charging and app download stations are available throughout the venue.
Meet the Investigator Studio meetings are private sessions sponsored by the Industry.
On-site sessions will take place in Fulda and Wiesbaden Auditoria located in the M Rooms of the City Cube at level 3.
Attendance is upon invitation only.
The official language of the Congress is English.
Participants and exhibitors attending the Congress are welcome to attend the official Opening Session on Friday, 17 October 2025 from 12:00 to 13:45 in Berlin Auditorium, located in Hub 27 (time subject to change).
Should an auditorium be full, and you are not able to enter, please make your way to the dedicated overflow areas, hostesses can assist you in finding the right place, where you will be able to follow the session remotely via screens and headsets.
Paper posters are displayed in Hall 25 on a rotating schedule, based on abstract category, for one day only (Saturday 18, Sunday 19 or Monday 20 October). EONS paper posters may be rotated as well.

E-Posters will be available onsite on searchable screens located in Hall 25 and via the ESMO 2025 Virtual Congress Platform. All submitted e-Posters will also be available online in OncologyPro as a post-Congress resource.
Invited Speakers and presenters of abstracts selected for the Presidential Symposium, Proffered Paper and Mini Oral are requested to deliver and check-in their PowerPoint presentation at the Speaker Centre (located in Hall 6.2) no later than 3 hours before the start of the session.
Presentations cannot be uploaded directly on laptops in the session rooms.
“Notes and preview function” in PowerPoint presentations will not be visible at the lectern laptop.
It is strictly required that all individuals delivering an oral presentation with a PowerPoint include a Declaration of Interest (DOI) disclosure slide at the beginning of their presentation(s).
All session Chairs and all individuals delivering an oral presentation are required to be in the Auditorium at least 10 minutes before the start of their session to receive a briefing from the technicians.
All Press, Media and Filming activities are subject to a specific policy.

Access to facilities and press conferences is limited to accredited Press Representatives wearing a “Press” badge.

Filming, recording and photography
Congress content is the copyright of ESMO. As a rule, it’s forbidden to record or capture in any way the official Programme Sessions, the Satellites sessions, the Exhibition and the Posters Area. Third Parties conducting filming activities and carrying professional equipment are requested to inform ESMO filming@esmo.org to receive guidance and approval.
Special rules apply to accredited Press Representatives: ESMO press conferences can be recorded, while recording of the Congress sessions is only possible for few minutes (news coverage). Photographing during sessions by accredited Press Representatives is allowed for personal and non-commercial use only, i.e., photos cannot be published or reproduced in any way.
Both Press and Third Parties Representatives performing filming activities are requested to collect (together with the badge) a special filming vest to be worn all times.
The use of wireless microphones radio frequencies may interfere with Congress sessions microphones: for additional details, please contact filming@esmo.org.
Photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the Congress' venue by ESMO appointed photographers and cameramen. These might be used by ESMO in its own publications, on the website and social media channels. The subjects of the photographs and/or the footage are chosen at random. By attending the Events, participants consent to be featured in photographs and/or footage captured by ESMO.

Congress participant badge
The congress badge is personal and the only official proof of registration. Participants not wearing their badges will not be granted access to the congress venue. EUR 150 will be charged to participants who forget or lose their badges. ESMO will reprint the forgotten badges upon receipt of a credit card guarantee. If the original badge is returned to the Registration desk the next day, the holding fee will be cancelled. Reprinting, if necessary, is only possible once, upon proof of such circumstances.
Seating areas are located throughout the venue.
ESMO Congress 2025 and the concomitant Exhibition have been designated as no smoking and alcohol-free events throughout the entire venue, including all meeting halls, functions, Registration, and catering areas. All participants are kindly required to respect the alcohol-free and no-smoking policy, which includes electronic cigarettes as well.
