History
Founded in 1973, our centre began with a radioactiv Cobalt machine for radiation therapy. Since 2003, Strasbourg Oncologie Liberale (S.O.L.) has expanded with the addition of two linear particle accelerators and a simulation scan. We joined the Clinique Sainte Anne, opening a new oncology-hematology unit with a day-care hospital and a conventional hospitalization ward.
In 2016, we created two oncology units with day-care wards with the Clinique Saint François in Haguenau, and the Clinique Saint Luc in Schirmeck. We opened a new nuclear medicine unit with a PET-scan in 2021 and this has since been accredited as a center of excellence by EANM in 2022.
S.O.L. is one of the biggest private cancer centres in Alsace providing personalized care management of patients from cancer diagnosis to
post-treatment follow-up. At our Centre de Radiotherapie de la Robertsau we provide the following therapies in collaboration with the Groupe Hospitalier Saint Vincent; radiation therapy, medical treatments, supportive care and palliative care in our onco-hematology hospitalization units.
