History
Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH) was inaugurated in 2000. At present this multi-speciality teaching hospital has 1'400 beds. This world-class infrastructure is highly reputed with the state-of-art medical equipment and experienced medical consultants/doctors/paramedical staff. Staff of MGH provide clinical support to the faculty of medicine resulting in efficient teaching in these institutions. It also provides clinical teaching materials as outlined by Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and Indian Nursing Council.

We have a fully functional 200-bed Oncology Department run by Head of Department Dr Hemant Malhotra.
We also run super speciality courses in DM Medical Oncology, Mch Surgical Oncology and MD Radiation Oncology and fellowship courses within our institute.
Specialities
Our Medical College offers super specialities in various fields like Oncology, Oncosurgery, Radiation Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Cardiac Sciences, Endocrinology, as well as specialisation in surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Opthalmology, ENT and various other fields. We also have Bone Marrow transplants, Liver, Kidney, Heart and Pancreas transplants being carried out within our institute.
Palliative and Supportive Care

- We see around 4000-4500 Patients in the Palliative Care Clinic.
- We are associated with various NGOs and run caregiver courses.
- Assessment for Post Graduate MD Palliative Medicine is undertaken within our institute.
