Initially focusing on medical oncology, we have expanded to include a comprehensive range of oncology specialities and established a dedicated centre for holistic cancer care. Today, we proudly offer a full spectrum of services including medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, haemato-oncology, head and neck oncology, paediatric oncology, oncopathology, oncoradiology, psycho-oncology, pain and palliative medicine and community oncology services. Located conveniently near Kochi city, we ensure ease of access for both national and international patients, meeting their diverse healthcare needs with compassion and expertise.

Specialities
Beyond our core treatment services, our institute excels in several specialised areas of oncology care. We offer expert oncopathology reporting, supported by an in-house immunohistochemistry (IHC) facility. Our PET CT imaging services ensure precise diagnostics, while our specialised breast clinics provide evaluation including advanced mammography with 3D Tomosynthesis and Vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB) capabilities. For precise interventions, we offer interventional radiology procedures and maintain an in-house Flow cytometry lab. Our comprehensive approach includes cancer screening programmes, genetic counselling and molecular diagnostic services in collaboration with leading national laboratories. Regular tumour board discussions enhance our treatment strategies, ensuring personalised care. Additionally, we provide SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) for targeted treatment delivery.
Palliative and Supportive Care
The Department of Pain and Palliative Medicine came into existence in 2017. The Departments of Medical Oncology and Pain and Palliative Medicine have been collaborating to provide supportive care, as well as end-of-life care, for cancer patients through all stages of their illness.
Rajagiri Cancer Centre provides multidisciplinary care to its patients, including a Palliative Home Care programme started in 2018, with this the continuum of care for our cancer patients is extended from the hospital to home and vice versa.
