History

East Tallinn Central Hospital has a distinguished history - patient treatment at our present location began in 1785. The East Tallinn Central Hospital as it’s known today, was founded in 2001 through a merger of seven hospitals and policlinics. Our medical fields are divided between seven individual clinics: Diagnostic Clinic, Clinic of Internal Medicine, Eye Clinic, Women's Clinic, Surgery Clinic, Clinic of Medical Rehabilitation and Nursing Clinic. The clinics include centres and departments with a narrower focus on specialties.
