History
The Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) is one of the leading private facilities specialising in integrated oncology and palliative care in Alexandria Governorate. Established in 2005 by a group of outstanding physicians, CCC is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art oncological and palliative care services. With a shared vision and extensive expertise, the team has built a centre committed to delivering comprehensive care to cancer patients.

The CCC team consists of 20 certified physicians in different specialties dedicated to the care of cancer patients: Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Haematologists, Palliative care, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, Nutrition and Psychiatry. Along with certified Clinical Pharmacists, a certified psychologist, rehabilitation, physiotherapy specialist and certified Nurses. Radiological and laboratory services are available on site.
Chemotherapy is prepared in a sterile chemotherapy admixing room by the clinical pharmacy team, delivered by highly trained specialised nurses and continuously supervised by a certified medical oncologist.
Outpatient clinics: provide services for cancer patients every day by a high-calibre certified cancer specialists and consultants through different specialised clinics.
Inpatient: Comprehensive inpatient services are provided at an offsite facility, offering a full range of care supported by a dedicated clinical pharmacy unit, 24-hour laboratory services, an intensive care unit (ICU), fully equipped imaging facilities, and other specialised resources to meet the needs of cancer patients.

All cancer patients are screened for palliative care needs at their initial visit, at appropriate intervals, and as clinically indicated. All patients and families are informed that palliative care is an integral part of their comprehensive cancer care.
Palliative and Supportive Care
Our goal to provide comprehensive care for cancer patients in their life journey, we continue to provide care for our patients who are progress on cancer treatment and no further option are available or unfit for active cancer treatment through our palliative care team include palliative care consultant who see the patients in clinics and follow up inpatients services, we have pain management consultant for provide states of art in management of different kind of pain with using of different pharmacotherapy including wide range of opioid as well as intervention technique for indicated cases. The team is also supported by a physiotherapist, a nutrition specialist, a psychiatry, a psycho-oncology specialist, a social worker and two specialised nurses. The centre provides all the services that patients might need, including home visits by a specialised home healthcare team.
