ESMO Educational Publications Working Group

The Educational Publications Working Group is responsible for the preparation and scientific editing of ESMO book publications.

Activities and responsibilities

  • Promoting dissemination of oncology information through practical, easy-to-use publications such as handbooks and other educational books
  • Identifying topics, table of contents, editors and authors for ESMO book publications
  • Scientific editing of the content of ESMO book publications
  • Participating in decisions regarding the need for additional book publications to serve the ESMO community
  • Defining the structure, format and educational level of ESMO book publications
  • Setting of standard operating procedures and rules for book development and updates
  • Ensuring that the ESMO community is aware of and able to easily access ESMO book publications
