Xanthi Pedeli gained her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, in 2003. She then studied Biostatistics at the University of Athens, Greece and she received her Master of Science degree in Biostatistics in 2006. In 2011, she earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece.
Dr. Pedeli is currently working as a statistician at Frontier Science Foundation-Hellas (FSF-H). She has also been working as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Cyprus (2011-2013) and as a research assistant at the Athens Medical School, University of Athens, Greece (2006-2011). Dr. Pedeli has experience on both theoretical and applied statistics, she has been involved in several European research projects and published peer-reviewed articles in journals of international repute. She has also served as a referee for various international statistical journals and participated in several international conferences and workshops with oral and poster presentations of her work.
