Thierry de Baere is professor of medicine at University Paris Saclay, Paris, France and Head of Interventional Radiology at Gustave Roussy Cancer Center. He is full time dedicated to interventional oncology at Institut Gustave Roussy since 1991. Excellent collaboration with surgery and medical oncology teams, active member of toumor board, allowing to develop many synergistic treatments, including optimization of various intra-arterial therapies for primary and secondary liver tumors and locoregional therapies for innovative cancer treatment. He has a long experience in thermal ablation of liver, lung and renal cancers. He has active research in intratumoral immunotherapy.
