Stefania Napolitano, MD, is a talented and highly motivated young doctor that would like to pursue a career in cancer research.
Stefania is currently in the fifth year of the Specialty Program in Medical Oncology at Second University of Naples. She obtained her MD from the Second University of Naples in 2011. Apart from her clinical appointment at the Second University of Naples, Dr Napolitano is also actively involved in translational and clinical research.
Stefania has been mainly involved in the study of preclinical models of intrinsic and acquired resistance to EGFR inhibitors in colorectal cancer and has gained a good expertise in basic research skills including working with mouse models.
