Samia Arifi MD, MSc is a Professor of Cellular Biology at the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, and a medical oncologist in the department of medical oncology at Hassan II University hospital, Fez, Morocco.

She qualified in medicine in 2007 and received certification for specialized training in medical oncology in 2011 from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Fez, Morocco. She also holds a Master’s degree in cancer biology from Claude Bernard University, Lyon, France.

Dr Arifi currently serves as a board member of the scientific council of the Moroccan cancer research institute (IRC). Within ESMO she is a member of the Global public policy committee. 

Samia Arifi has contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, and is also the author of several invited lectures in various conferences.

Her main clinical and research interests focus in sarcomas, breast cancer, NETs, and head and neck cancers.
