Her interest in the care articulation between Oncology and Palliative Care has led her to conclude with distinction a MSc in Palliative Care at the Cicely Saunders Institute, King’s College London, where she developed a research project about complex palliative care needs in cancer, that was presented at the European Cancer Congress in 2015. She is part of the DINAMO Project, led by Dr Barbara Gomes and funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, an advanced training and research project that aims to optimise home palliative care in Portugal.
