Rebecca Lee

Dr Rebecca Lee is a clinical lecturer in medical oncology at The University of Manchester, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and a clinical fellow at The Francis Crick Institute. Her PhD examined precision medicine approaches to melanoma treatment supervised by Professor Richard Marais and Professor Paul Lorigan. She continues to work closely with them and Professor Caroline Dive in developing clinical trials to improve outcomes for patients with melanoma focussing on clinical decision-making based on circulating tumour DNA. She currently works at The Francis Crick Institute examining the tumour microenvironment in the laboratory of Dr Erik Sahai.
Reducing the impact of ESMO on the climate is a subject that is very important to her and she is enjoying working with the organisation in achieving their aims as a member of the ESMO Climate Change Task Force.
