Prof. Rachel Riechelmann MD PhD is a medical oncologist and clinical scientist focused on colorectal /anal cancers and neuroendocrine tumors (NET). She is currently Director of the Clinical Oncology Department, AC Camargo Cancer Center, Sao Paulo, Brasil and also serves as the President of the Brazilian GI Tumors Group (GTG). She has more than 125 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is editor of the book Methods and Biostatistics in Oncology: Understanding Clinical Research as an Applied Tool, Springer 2018. Prof. Riechelmann is a member of ESMO Scientific Committees (Colorectal and NET), Latin American Society of GI Oncology (SLAGO), the European Society of Neuroendocrine Tumors Advisory Board and Chair - GI LACOG (Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group). She is also actively involved in the mentoring and teaching of young oncologists.
