Oleg Gluz completed his medical studies at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, his specialist training at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Breast Center Niederrhein/Mönchengladbach and at the Bethesda Hospital Wuppertal, Clinic for Gynaecology. In 2017, Dr. Gluz obtained the Venia legendi for the subject of gynecology and obstetrics at the University of Cologne. Dr. Gluz is a member of the following professional societies: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, German Society for Senology, German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics, German Cancer Society, Gynecological Oncology Working Group, EORTC Pathobiology Group. He is the author of more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and specialist books. For his clinical-translational research, Dr. Gluz has received numerous awards: Science Prize of the Lower Rhine-Westphalian Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics, 2008, Combat Award for translational research into breast cancer, 2008, AACR Scholar-in-Training Award for Translational Breast Cancer Research, 2009, Best of Poster – Breast Cancer/ gynecological tumors, 2012, Merit Award ASCO, 2013, Merit Award ASCO, 2016, Claudia von Schilling Junior Breast Cancer Award, 2018.
