Manuel Pedregal

Manuel obtained his medical degree at the University of Seville in 2014 and received an Erasmus Scholarship that allowed him to finish his degree at Rigshospitalet University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark. Between 2015 and 2020, he completed the residency program in Medical Oncology at Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz. During this period, he was awarded an excellence grant by the CNIO (Spanish National Cancer Research Center) to pursue the Master of Science in Molecular Oncology, which he completed in 2019-2020. Manuel was also granted an excellent resident grant to conduct research for the last part of his training at the Germ Cell Tumors UNIT at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. In 2020, he started a new position as a Consultant in Medical Oncology for the Gastro-Intestinal UNIT, doing Phase II/III trials, at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jimenez Diaz. Since 2022 he joined a new project in the FJD-START Phase I UNIT, initially as a Fellow and then as a Clinical Investigator, conducting various Phase I trials as a PI and SI.
