Hampig Raphael Kourie gained his Medical Doctor degree from the faculty of medicine of Saint Joseph University in Beirut Lebanon in 2010. He started his fellowship in Hôtel-Dieu de France, University Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon and since 2014 he is a medical oncology fellow at the Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels, Belgium.

He is an active member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and in 2016 he was nominated Member of the ESMO Membership Committee. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.
