Giuseppe Lamberti is a Medical Oncologist and PhD student in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Bologna in Italy. Dr Lamberti’s main research interests are SCLC and other neuroendocrine neoplasms, immunotherapy, and methods in clinical research.
After earning his master’s degree in 2013 at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Dr Lamberti enrolled in the Medical Oncology Training programme at the University of Bologna and completed his training in 2019. During the last year of training in 2019, Dr Lamberti completed a one-year clinical research fellowship with an emphasis on predictive biomarkers of immunotherapy in lung cancer at the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston (United States). After training, Dr Lamberti joined the University of Bologna PhD programme, with a main focus on immunotherapy in SCLC.
Dr Lamberti has attended several international Oncology-focused courses, including the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)-sponsored preceptorships in neuroendocrine neoplasms (Prague, 2017) and in immunotherapy (Zurich, 2018), and the 20th Methods in Clinical Cancer Research held in Zeist in the Netherlands (2018).
