Dr Francesca Pavanello was born in Venice (Italy) in 1984.
She trained in Haemathology in Italy and Switzerland.
From 2010 to 2015 she worked as resident at the Clinical Immunology and Haematology Unit and at the Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Padua, Italy. Her clinical and research interests were focused on lymphoproliferative diseases, myelodisplastic syndromes and transfusional medicine. She worked as sub-investigator in various lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia clinical trials.
Since July 2015, as a IELSG (International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group) fellow, she has been working at the Division of Medical Oncology of the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland (IOSI), where she is presently a clinical researcher in the Lymphoma Unit headed by Dr. Emanuele Zucca, focusing her research interest on extranodal lymphomas.
