ESMO Deep Dive: Lung Cancer
ESMO Deep Dive: Lung Cancer
Series Coordinator: Natasha Leighl
This new webinar series provides oncologists, who already possess a solid foundation in the diagnostic approach, risk assessment, and treatment of lung cancer patients, with an enhanced educational experience that delves into emerging data covering:
- Molecular biology and classification
- Translational research and biomarkers in precision medicine
- Areas of uncertainty, hypotheses, and current research concerning controversial issues or unmet needs in optimal patient management
By the end of the series, healthcare professionals will:
- Gain a more comprehensive understanding of the disease's clinical progression, biological theories related to classification and risk stratification, and the ongoing and necessary research in therapeutics, including the use of omics technologies for biomarker-driven precision medicine.
- Enhance their skills in critically analysing and interpreting research data and therapeutic approaches.
- Be better prepared to engage in innovative thinking and to participate in ongoing or new research initiatives.
