ESMO’s core mission is to improve the quality of cancer care, from prevention and diagnosis all the way to palliative care and patient follow-up. It is to educate – doctors, cancer patients and the general public – on the best practices and latest advances in oncology. And it is to promote equal access to optimal cancer care for all patients.

Organisational Structure

Composed by an Executive Board, a Council and several Committees and task forces, the organisational structure of ESMO enables participation and inclusion in the life of the Society.

ESMO Faculty

The ESMO Faculty is composed of ESMO members and specialists in medical oncology or related fields, to promote a multidisciplinary approach to cancer. The Faculty is committed to helping ESMO with its educational responsibilities.
