Ahmed Idbaih, MD, PhD, is neuro-oncologist in the department of Neurologie 2-Mazarin in Hôpitaux Universitaires La Pitié-Salpêtrière, in Paris, France. He obtained his MD from Université Pierre et Marie Curie and his PhD from Université Paris XI. He broadened his lab training with a postdoctoral fellowship in Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston.

In addition to clinical management of brain tumour patients, he has a strong interest in research in neuro-oncology. He is involved in several clinical trials dedicated to patients with brain tumours. He participates actively in preclinical therapeutic research coordinating a group focused on experimental therapeutics in preclinical model of glioblastoma (GlioTex group).
