The José Baselga Fellowship for Clinician Scientists has been created by ESMO, with support from AstraZeneca, for physicians who wish to progress as clinician-scientists, helping them to create a professional environment with protected time for research, adequate resources and mentorship.

Depending on focus the research fellowship offers comprehensive bench-to-bedside training in translational research or provides the necessary support to develop clinical oncology research projects, both provide invaluable international experience.
