Psycho-Oncology Research Position

Job Description

The candidate should carry a PhD degree in health psychology, sociology or public health. She/he will have the mission to conduct a study on the topic of cancer patients’ psychosocial care needs and oncology communication in advanced cancer care. Her/his role will be to elaborate the detailed study protocol, coordinate the study data collection, perform face-to-face individual and group qualitative interviews, manage the collection of case report forms and questionnaire data, perform quantitative data analyses and communicate findings in academic peer reviewed journals.

Required skills

  • Ability for team management
  • Skills in psychosocial qualitative and quantitative research
  • Skills in data management and statistical analyses (multivariate statistical analyses)
  • Competence in micro-informatics competence (online survey software)
  • Ability to speak, read and write in French and English

Job Contract

Full-time, short term, at least 6 months.
