Free Childcare Service at Congress: Fun and Educational Activities for your Children!

Attend sessions at Congress knowing your child is having fun and in safe hands

Aiming to assist families attending the ESMO 2017 Congress, the ESMO Young Oncologists Committee (YOC) and the ESMO Women for Oncology Committee (W4O) are delighted to offer free childcare services to all registered participants!

The ESMO Young Oncologists Committee (YOC) and the ESMO Women for Oncology Committee (W4O) have brought in Nipperbout, a UK-based company who have been delivering first class event childcare to exhibitions, conferences and festivals for 23 years. This means you get to attend Congress sessions knowing your child is not only having fun but is also in the best of care.

How does the Childcare Service work?

  • This is a free service offered to ESMO 2017 delegates by the YOC and W4O Committees.
  • The Childcare Service is easy to find, located in Hall 2, the entrance hall close to Registration
  • Children from 0-12 years of age are welcomed.
  • Children can stay in blocks of 4 hours maximum, you can reserve as many blocks as you require.
  • Children must be taken out of the childcare service for meals (water and fresh fruit snacks will be available).
  • Parents must provide nappies and any necessary equipment.
  • Age appropriate activities will be organised daily.
  • Working language of the Childcare Service is English.
  • Parents are encouraged to pre-book childcare place(s) by following the instructions below; onsite registration will be possible with places subject to availability and on a first come, first served basis.

How to register your child

You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your registration has been successful.

You will receive a notification email if there is no space available at the time requested.

Health and safety

Nipperbout has an ISO 9001-15. Policies and Procedures are regularly reviewed alongside continuous staff training. Rigorous Health and Safety checks take place daily at events.

Staff are qualified first-aiders but are not authorised to administer medicine to children.
